FAKRO at Bauen und Energie 2017
A very intense building season has begun. It’s for the third time that FAKRO attended Bauen & Energie in Vienna, the largest Austrian fair for the building, renovation and energy saving issues. The whole event lasted 4 days from 16 to 19 February 2017 with a focus on environmental and climate protection innovations.
460 exhibitors presented their products to more than 46,000 visitors in three halls. 10% of them were professionals like architects, planners, building owners and roofers. Henryk Czubek, PhD, Head of the Trade and Investment Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Vienna was among guests.
The Bauen & Energie is a popular meeting place for professionals as well as end users, presenting the best and latest solutions in the construction industry.
On the area comprising 64 m² FAKRO displayed a top solutions for flat and steep roofs which meet stringent design and comfort requirements. The leading theme of FAKRO stand were flat roof windows. The entire range of these products was exhibited, including the DEF electric window acknowledged with Red Dot Design Award 2016 – one of the most prestigious awards in the field of design. The greatest interest of the visitors was attracted by the DXW flat roof window which allows the user to walk across its surface. The visitors were deeply interested in the DRF flat access roof light and DSF smoke ventilation flat roof window.
Moreover, FAKRO presented a wide range of blinds such as external awning blinds in manual, electrical and Solar version and internal ones. In addition, FAKRO demonstrated for the first time a new VMZ manual awning blind for vertical windows, which offers protection from tiresome heat on the sunny days and also acts as an insect screen.
Top hung and pivot window FPP-V preSelect2n in new prototype version, which allows to open the sash up to an angle of 45°had its premiere on the Austrian market during the show. Naturally, the stand also featured innovative FGH-V Galeria roof window whose sashes when opened create a functional balcony.
